Adding an Object
When you create a note, you can add a variety of objects on the page.
Drawing
In the Pen Mode, you can write and draw anything you like.
- While editing a note, tap
.
- Tap
again to open the Pen Palette
and select a pen.
- You can write or draw by dragging the pen on the editor screen.

Text Unit
A Text Unit is a rectangular area into which you can type and draw.
- Tap
.
- Place your finger or pen at a location to place the text unit.
A Text Unit appears on the page.
- Insert text using the keyboard.

Photo
Photos in your photo album can be added to your note.
- While editing a note, tap
> [Add Photo] > [Add from Photo/Album] or [Add from Camera].
- Select a photo from the list of photos.
- Choose the resolution quality (High or Normal).
The photo is attached on the current page of the note.

Shape
GEMBA Note provides basic shapes such as rectangles, triangles. circles and lines.
- Tap
> [Add Shape].
- Select a shape from the list.

The shape is attached to the current page of the note.
Item
An item is a graphic illustration. GEMBA Note provides a variety of items so that you can create colorful notes quickly.
- Tap
> [Add Item].
- Select an item from the displayed list.

The item is attached to the current page of the note.
Web Page
A Web Page is a snapshot from a website at a specified URL.
- Tap
> [Add Web Page].
- Specify a URL to show a web page.

- Tap [Done].
The web page image is attached to the current page of the note.
PDF
You can add a PDF file as a PDF unit or as pages.
- While editing a note, tap
> [Import PDF].
- Select an external storage app such as Dropbox or OneDrive in which you have saved a PDF file.
- Choose a PDF file in the specified external storage app.
- Navigate to a folder in which you have saved PDF files using the File Explorer.
- Choose a target PDF file.
- You are asked how the PDF file is imported.

- If you select [Add As PDF Unit], the unit in which the PDF file exists will be added on a page.
- if you select [Add As Page(s)], each page of the PDF file will be added as pages in the note.
- [Create New Note] will create a new note in which the PDF file exists as pages.
Spreadsheet
You can add a spreadsheet (table) in a note. More detailed information is described here.
